NextGenBioPest, a leader in bio-based pest management solutions, is proud to announce its partnership with STELLA, an innovative project dedicated to developing AI-powered early warning and detection systems for regulated pests. This collaboration aims to revolutionize pest monitoring and crop protection by integrating cutting-edge artificial intelligence, modern sensing technologies, and eco-friendly pest management strategies.

STELLA is developing the STELLA PSS, a holistic digital system designed to provide farmers, agronomists, and policymakers with real-time insights and response strategies for pest outbreaks. Over the next three years, the system will be tested across six pilot use cases in Europe and New Zealand, covering diverse agricultural landscapes—including arable crops, orchards, vineyards, and forests.

Through this partnership, NextGenBioPest will bring its expertise in biopesticide technologies to complement STELLA’s digital innovations. Together, the two organizations will:

✅ Enhance early pest detection and risk assessment

✅ Strengthen precision pest management strategies

✅ Promote the adoption of eco-friendly crop protection methods

✅ Support EU goals for sustainable agriculture and digital transformation

At NextGenBioPest, we are dedicated to reducing chemical pesticide dependency through nature-based solutions. Partnering with STELLA allows us to integrate our innovations into a high-tech ecosystem that empowers farmers with smarter, data-driven pest management strategies.

The findings from the STELLA PSS will also contribute to policy recommendations aimed at reducing pesticide use, managing priority plant pest outbreaks, and promoting the digitalization of EU agriculture and forestry. This collaboration represents a major step forward in aligning technology, sustainability, and agricultural resilience.
